Error description

  • When using FM option 5.6, Data Set Extents, a dataset name that
    exist is specified, and the expected results are returned. When
    a dataset name that does not exist is specified on a
    subsequent Data Set Extents panel, a S0C4 abend is received.

Problem conclusion

  • 1.File Manager will no longer abendS0C4 when an unknown data set
    name is supplied to the Disk Extents function.
    2. The File Manager Disk Extent function will display the
    extent details on an uncatalogued data set.
