Error description
V9 new function follow-on to PM40117 (part 2). IDAAV2R1/K *************************************************************** Additional Symptoms and Keywords: . After all data has been fetched, a +100 SQLCODE indication is returned by site2. DB2 z/OS at site1 abends due to a parsing error. . Loop WAIT LP SQLCODE100 SQL100P SQL00100P An application at site1 opens a query to a remote site2 server system. After all data has been fetched, a +100 SQLCODE indication is returned by site2. DB2 z/OS at site1 does not return the +100 indication back to the application. If the application executes SQL Fetch in a loop until a +100 indication is received, the application may loop indefinitely. The problem occurs due to a parsing error. . SQLCODE -30020 SQL30020N SQLERRP DSNLXROP 241A (0100) DSNL031I MSGDSNL031I 00D3442F RC00D3442F DSNLXROP0079 An application at site1 opens a query to a remote site2 server system. The site1 error indicates that (descriptor) information returned by site2 for a query at SQL OPEN time is different from (descriptor) information returned by site2 at SQL PREPARE time, however the condition is valid. The condition is known to occur only if this APAR, PM45483, change is applied to a remote site2 DB2 z/OS server (which may now return the differing information) but the APAR change is not also applied to the DB2 z/OS site1 requester in order to tolerate the condition. The condition is also known to only occur if the remote DB2 z/OS site2 server uses accelerator services to satisfy the query. As a result, the condition can be solved by applying the APAR to the DB2 z/OS site1 requester system or by disabling use of accelerator services until the change can be applied to the DB2 z/OS site1 requester system. Use of accelerator services can be disabled by not utilizing the CURRENT QUERY ACCELERATION special register in the application, or via the QUERY_ACCELERATION configuration parameter at the remote site2 DB2 z/OS server. 04E-00D35011 LOC=DSNLZLLM.DSNLZS00:0062 00D35011 DSNLZS00 0062 Abend occurrs during constructing a DRDA reply for a failed OPEN SQLCODE413 -413
