When using Microsoft Windows services to start and stop
WebSphere Application Server, if the string that is passed to
the startServer and stopServer script exceeds 512 characters,
wasservice will crash. This string is derived based upon the
path to startServer/stopServer, the parameters passed and the
redirection of the output.

Problem conclusion

The internal array which holds the string was increased to
prevent the crash and an error check was put in place to
indicate if the limit is reached.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.41, 7.0.0.19 and 8.0.02.  Please refer to the
