    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A webservice request fails since both *
    *                      the AsynchronousRequestDispatcher       *
    * (ARD) and WCInboundDefault chains were *

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When the WCInboundDefault chain is disabled and the
    HttpQueueInbound chain is enabled every inbound request will
    be discriminated through the HttpQueueInbound chain. However,
    if AsynchronousRequestDispatcher (ARD) is also set to
    disabled, an unsupported combination is created, thus causing
    the problem.

Problem conclusion

  • The WebContainer code has been updated with an Information
    message which conveys if ARD is disabled make sure
    WCInboundDefault chain is not disabled.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.21 and 8.0.0.2. Please refer to the Recommended
