APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The customer is running test on where they setup a block of
    calls with a long hold time. They then shutdown one of the
    Call Processing JVMs, and expect all the session to failover.
    However, they are getting following NullPointerException.

Problem summary

    The SIP continer is not attaching the SipApplicationSession
    object to SIP timers after activation
    

Problem conclusion

  • The SIP container is now attaching SIP timers to their
    associate SIPApplicationSessions during the activation procss
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 1.0.0.13. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
