Error description

  • When running database scripts for creating the Common Event
    Infrastructure (CEI) database on Informix Dynamic Server
    version 11.70 an error occurs:
    
    dbaccess - cr_db.sql
    312: Cannot update system catalog (sysprocplan).

    When running database scripts for creating CEI database on
    Informix Dynamic Server version 11.70 an error occurs:
    dbaccess - cr_db.sql
    312: Cannot update system catalog (sysprocplan).
    The cause of the problem was found in the generated database
    scripts for creating CEI Informix database.
    The value used for creating the database space for event system
    was too small for version 11.70 of the Informix Dynamic Server.
    

Problem conclusion

  • To prevent the error  ¢â‚¬ “312: Cannot update system catalog
    (sysprocplan) ¢â‚¬  ½ the size of database space for the event s
    was increased.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
