Local fix

Problem summary

  • The problem is due to AIX7 changed their true type fonts and IBM
    JDK 1.4.2 cannot find them because font name is changed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    1.4.2 SR13 FP11 (AIX)
    .
    The JVM is updated to handle the AIX 7 true type fonts properly
    .
    To obtain the fix:
    Install build 20110827 or later
