Error description

  • An application program is defined to use the
    CICS Transaction Gateway (CTG) in local mode
    to connect to a CICS region. That application suffers a
    a WebSphere ABENDEC3 RSN04130007.
      In the System Trace, it looks like this:

    This means that the controller issued a ABTERM for this Servant
    because the HTTP OUTPUT timeout occurred.
    .
     RTM calls the ESTAE with a SYNCH call pointing to the SDWA.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abend 0C4 happens in DFHXCPRH at *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    DFHXCPRH ESTAE000 tries to clear WS_MVS_REASCODE but R6, the
    base register of working storage, is x'00000000' at that point.
    This causes an S0C4 abend.

Problem conclusion

  • UK55327
    DFHXCPRH has been changed in ESTAE000 to re-address R6 to point
    at working storage before clearing WS_MVS_REASCODE.
