PM39911: DELAY IN FINISHING SDF2 CICS TRANSACTION

Error description

• When a user finishes a full screen
  SDF II session started in CICS,
  there may be a 15 second delay before
  the CICS SDF2 transaction finishes.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When a user finishes a full screen      *
  *                      SDF2 session started in CICS,           *
  *                      there may be a 15 second delay before   *
  *                      the CICS SDF2 transaction finishes.     *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the supplied PTF.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  When the SDF2 CICS transaction finishes, it may request
  VSE/POWER to DELETE the job log LST entry. If the LST
  disposition of job log is not L or H then the DELETE of
  the LST entry will fail. The failure was handled by SDF II
  until VSE/POWER maintenance applied which resulted in
  "1R88I NOTHING TO DELETE" message being returned. SDF II was
  not handling this message correctly.
  

Problem conclusion

• SDF II now correctly handles "1R88I NOTHING TO DELETE" msg
  being returned on DELETE of LST queue entry.
