PM39604: SAVEDATAALL IN TI-EPILOG DOESN?T WORK AS EXPECTED AND CORRUPTS THE TM1S.LOG

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Try for example to import a flat file and write the values into
    a cube. Cube-logging is activated in TI for this cube. In the
    Epilog of this TI-process there is a SaveDataAll located. This
    is the only TI-process executed at a time and no other activity
    is on the TM1-server.??If this TI-process is exectuted the first
    time, I would expect the tm1s.log was written to disk as
    tm1sxxxxx.log ? this is not the case ? not before executing this
    TM1-process a second time the tm1s.log is written to
    tm1sxxxx.log.??(Sometimes it could be work only the first time
    of execution ? you should try it a third, fourth?time as well
    and you will see, it is always the same problem)??This is the
    first issue.??The second issue is, this tm1sxxxx.log is
    corrupted, means the quotations marks of the first line in the
    created tm1sxxxxx.log has only one quotation mark before the
    comma. If such a corrupt tm1s.log exists and before it will be
    saved to disk the TM1-server crashes and should be restarted
    with this corrupt tm1s.log, the TM1-Server could not be
    restarted an will be terminated automatically with the
    error-message in the tm1server.log ?TM1TransactionLog::Recover:
    Bad transaction log record, line number 1???This is the second
    issue and probably aftereffect.
