* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: SCAClassLoaders are retained in         *
*                      memory after SCA Applications           *
*                      using implementation.jee are stopped.   *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

After Business Level Applcation (BLA) stop, the following
issues cause SCA class loaders to be retained in memory:
1) Entries for the implemenation.jee applications are retained
in the com.ibm.ws.soa.sca.runtime.impl.SCAComponentImpl's
moduleComponentsMap after BLA stop.
2) The component context associated with the
implementation.jee applcation remains in
WebImplementationProviderFactory context HashMap after BLA
stop.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The Feature Pack for SCA code was updated to remove the SCA
artifacts associated with implementation.jee applications
on BLA stop.

The fix for PM38073 is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 1.0.1.13. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
page for delivery information:

The WebSphere Application Server V8.0 fix for this APAR will be
delivered via APAR PM43578.
