Error description
Following message is seen after applying fix for PM25709: 'The License Server cannot be reached or is not responding properly.' This is a second part of the defect that will be resolved from the licensing side.

**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Users affected: Rational RequisitePro client for Windows version 7.1.2.2 and 7.1.2.3 users who use licenses from a server containing Rational Lifecycle Package with Clear Case (RLPwCC) licenses. Problem description: When user opens Rational RequisitePro client for Windows it checks out a license successfully, then clicking on any option of the main menu results in the following error message: "The License Server cannot be reached or is not responding properly." After clicking OK to close the error message RequisitePro recovers successfully from the error and works as usual. During that session the error will not be displayed anymore. However when RequisitePro is closed and reopened the error message will be shown one more time when click on any option of the main menu.
Problem conclusion
Rational RequisitePro version 7.1.2.4 has adopted latest Rational Common Licensing (RCL) fix pack 8.1.2 where code has been updated to no longer send error message when a license has been checked out successfully.
