  • When using FM option 3.5, and a volume is selected from panel
'Volume Summary/Selection', then PF3 is entered and a
second volume is selected, receive message:
Panel 'FMNPVSEL' error

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When selecting a second volume from     *
*                      the Volume Summary/                     *
*                      Selection panel                         *
*                      the message 'Panel 'FMNPVSEL' error'    *
*                      will be displayed on the Display        *
*                      VTOC panel.                             *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
****************************************************************
The data set name mask supplied on the Display VTOC panel is
being corrupted when returning from the Display VTOC Data Set
List process.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The Display VTOC Data Set List will be displayed when a second
and subsequent volumes are selected from the Volume Summary/
Selection panel.
