PM35859: A STOP Error (BSOD) occurs on Windows 7 when running ClearCase 7.1.2.1

Error description

A STOP error Blue Screen (BSOD) may occur on Microsoft Windows
when running IBM Rational ClearCase 7.1.2.1.

One symptom can be that a user gets a blue screen when building
in Visual Studio using a dynamic view on a 64-bit Windows 7
machine.  There are no issues when building using a snapshot
view on the same machine.  When you look into the crash dump,
you see high memory usage

WORKAROUND
A possible workaround is to add the value MvfsViewAttachMup of
type REG_DWORD and assign it a value of 1, under
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Mvfs\Parameters.

This requires a reboot.

Problem conclusion

IBM Rational ClearCase version 8.0.0.09 and 8.0.1.02 have been
modified so that they no longer encounter a STOP error in these
conditions.
