PM34308: GETDIRECTPARENT THROWS NULLPOINTEREXCEPTION IN A CUSTOM WORKFLOW ACTION FOR DRAFT ITEM

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• -create a custom workflow action, call
  "content.getDirectParent();" from the execute
  method.
  -workflow with at least two workflow stages:
  Draft & Published.
  -add a workflow action to Draft --> Custom Workflow
  Action containing the problem-code & Published: a standard
  publish workflow action.
  
  It throws exception similar to as

Local fix

Problem summary
