  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When Hyperswap is enabled, WAS start takes a long time to
complete. This is due to during TPC-R startup, there is code
querying the pairs on the hardware. However, new thread is not
spawned to do this query, such that the startup can complete
quickly.

  • When hyperswap is enabled, it takes a long time for TPC-R to
start up.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Ths issue is that during startup, TPC-R does a query to the
pairs states. The normal start up process is unable to continue
until the query returns. The fix is to move the pair state query
to it's own thread so initial start up is able to continue.
