Logger APAR OA35510 has been opened to clarify 847 return code.

*                      the Log Browse Utility (BBORBLOG)       *

BBORBLOG received an unexpected reason code from a IXGBRWSE
invocation and issued the following message: "BBOO0087E Program
BBORBLOG encountered error during invocation of system logger
service IXGBRWSE. Service returned with - RC=00000008,

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Code has been modified in bborblog.cpp to recognize a x'0847'
reason code from IXGBRWSE as an expected reason code.

APAR PM33470 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.19 of WebSphere Application Server V7.0.
