  Abend0C4 RC00000011 at DSNSLD4 .DSNSVSVB UK40503 offset0E00
  Other symptoms may be possible depending on what storage
  block was overlaid.
  The overlay occurred when the length of the input argument
  data to the XMLELEMENT is between 4069 and 4096 bytes.
  The problem will also occur for other XML functions:
    XMLATTRIBUTE, XMLCOMMENT, XMLCONCAT,
    XMLFOREST, XMLNAMESPACES, XMLPI and XMLTEXT.

• Use length that is less than 4075 bytes or greater than
  4096 bytes

  Storage overlay occurred when a SQL statement with an
  XMLELEMENT function was executed.  The storage overlay
  occurs when the length of the input argument to the
  XMLELEMENT function is between 4070 and 4095 bytes.
  An example of a SQL statement that has the problem is
  the following:
  
   SELECT LENGTH(XMLSERIALIZE(
            XMLELEMENT(NAME "element1",
                       REPEAT('A',4070))
                              AS CLOB(1M)))
   FROM SYSIBM.SYSDUMMYU
  
  The XMLATTRIBUTES, XMLCOMMENT, XMLCONCAT, XMLDOCUMENT,
  XMLFOREST, XMLNAMESPACES, XMLPI and XMLTEXT functions have
  the same problem when the length of the input argument is
  between 4070 and 4095 bytes.
  

Problem conclusion

• DB2 is fixed to handle the input argument for the XML
  functions correctly.
