PM32967: SESSION HANGS WHEN USING FM COMPARE WITH AN I/O EXIT.

Error description

• TSO session hangs when using FM option 3.11 to compare load
  modules, with I/O exit FMNIOXEA activated.

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: All File Manager users                       *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 1. File Manager may loop when an I/O    *
  *                      exit has  been specified.               *
  *                      2. The size of the record position      *
  *                      fields on the DBCS list panels are 4    *
  *                      characters in length when they should   *
  *                      be 5 characters.                        *
  *                      3. The message 'Invalid value' is       *
  *                      displayed when the I/O Exit option is   *
  *                      selected on the Replace To Data Set     *
  *                      panel.                                  *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  1. File Manager is testing if the ISPF Packing option has been
  selected for load module compare when it does not apply. When
  the options panel is redisplayed the cursor is positioned on
  a field which does not exist causing an error and the loop.
  2. The size of the record field on the DBCS list panels is
  incorrect.
  3. The IO Exit option field is not being translated correctly on
  the Replace and Copy Edit/View panels.
  

Problem conclusion

• File Manager has been updated to correct the problems.
