• Receive the messages below from FMNVERIF when MSGEXIT is coded
  for IGYCDOPT.
  
  FMNBE000 IKJ56246I FILE FMNIN NOT ALLOCATED, FILE IN USE
  
  FMNBA650 SVC99 concatenate failed, RC 4 ERR 0410, INFO 0000
   (FMNIN)
  
  FMNBB569 Template not found or invalid
  

Local fix

• Two circumventions:
  1. Use //FMNCOB DD Dummy to use internal compiler
  OR
  2. Code special IGYCDOPT with MSGEXIT=,
  

Problem summary

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *

  This problem can occur when the COBOL installation options
  module IGYCDOPT specifies a MSGEXIT (Enterprise COBOL 4.2
  and above), eg MSGEXIT=IGYMSGXT.
  File Manager does not support the use of a message exit.
  

Problem conclusion

• File Manager has been updated to specify NOMSGEXIT (NOMSGX)
  when invoking the COBOL compiler at 4.2 level and above.
  MSGEXIT has been added to the list of options that may not be
  specified as fixed in IGYCDOPT.
