APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The Tablespace was in Copy Pending mode after Load log no. The
user got a legitimate -904 on trying to use Filemanager DB2 to
update the table but he couldn't figure out what was wrong.

He was trying a lot of  different things trying to figure out
what was wrong, so the bottom line is that they didn't know
what function was in play when the S0C4 occurred.

The problem occurs when an attempt is made to execute a
statement with zero length.

Problem conclusion

  • FM/DB2 has been moddifed to correct the problem.
