Error description
When using BATCHREP to REMOVE a CSGLCGCG from a CSYSGRP and then add to another via a CREATE it fails with message: . The failing BATCHREP commands were : REMOVE CSGLCGCG GROUP(GRP1) TOGROUP(GRP12345) CREATE CSGLCGCG GROUP(GRP1) TOGROUP(GRP6789A) .

Run the each command in separate BATCHREP jobs.

Note that the restarts * * do not need to be done at the same time. * **************************************************************** When a CICS group (CSYSGRP) or CICS system (CSYSDEF) is linked to a CSYSGRP, module EYU0TAAC (TAAC - Add System Group Link Definition) is called to add the new CSGLCGCG or CSGLCGCS record to the data repository. TAAC calls module EYU0BMWU (BMWU - BAS Update CICS System Group) to check the configuration for consistency. After a Topology update completes, the BAS Management long- running task is notified of the change asynchronously, so that the resource install matrix can be updated. If BMWU is called by TAAC before a previous update of the BAS matrix completes, a status of BAS_INCONSISTENT_SET or BAS_INCONSISTENT_SCOPES might be returned to TAAC.
Problem conclusion
Module EYU0TAAC was modified to retry the call to BMWU up to five times with a one second delay between tries, if the status returned by BMWU is not OK, to allow time for an in- flight update notification to be completed. This will be done if TAAC is called on behalf of a BATCH process (BATCHREP stream or batch API program).
