PM30942: THE TD QUEUE NAME DISPLAYED IN THE LIST IS BEING CORRUPTED WHEN UNPRINTABLE CHARACTERS IN THE NAME.

Error description

• The TD name displayed in the CICS Temporary Storage Selection
  List panel is being corrupted when there are unprintable
  characters in the name.  These characters are being replaced
  with periods.

  *                      Queues using a mask of '*' or '%' any   *
  *                      queues with a hexadecimal name may not  *
  *                      be displayed.                           *
  *                      2. When listing Temporary Storage       *
  *                      Queues the hexadecimal value of the     *
  *                      queue name may not be displayed         *
  *                      correctly when the HEX command is       *
  *                      issued if the name contains unprintable *
  *                      characters.                             *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *

  1. When a mask of '*' or '%' is used when displaying a list
  of Temporary Storage queues the queue browse is positioned at
  the mask and not at the start of the queue.
  2. Unprintable characters in the queue name are being changed to
  a period(.).
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. When a mask of '*' or '%' is used when displaying a Temporary
  Storage queue list the queue browse will be positioned at the
  start of the queue list.
  2. The hexadecimal value of the queue name will be displayed
  when the HEX command is issued.
