    During DB2 server thread deallocation, DB2 failed to free all
    thread related storage previously allocated. Over time, this
    can lead to a shortage of auxiliary storage with symptoms
    including:
    . Message IRA201E CRITICAL AUXILIARY
      STORAGE SHORTAGE
    . Message IEE711I SYSTEM DUMP NOT
      TAKEN.  A CRITICAL AUXILIARY STORAGE

    . ABEND04E RC00C90101
      LOC=DSNGEDM.DSNGEDLC:5010
    The storage containing the leaked DDF control blocks will have
    the following eyecatchers:
    . RSLIST
    . PRDA
    . PRC

Problem conclusion

  • DB2 has been corrected to free all required thread related DDF
    storage during server thread deallocation.
    Note: This APAR is applicable only for DB2 10 for z/OS systems.
