Failed to use the "update all" operation to update multiple installed WebSphere Feature Pack offerings at the same time using Installation Manager when the "update all" operation involves interim Fix installation and IBM WebSphere Application Server version 7 Feature Pack fix pack installation. The installation Manager will block the "update all" operation with error message: "Validation for latest updates of the installed package failed."

Problem conclusion
When an update all operation involves interim Fix and feature pack fix pack updates, the feature pack offering bundle has been triggered and incorrectly treats the feature pack fix pack offering update as a beta offering install operation. Thus the bundle will block the entire Installation Manager update all operation. The solution is to fix the logic to handle an update all operation scenario with interim Fix and feature pack fix pack updates. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 1.0.0.11.
