Nested groups are not displayed if the user is in a different
repository from the nested group

Virtual Member Manager (VMM) supports cross repository
configuration where groups in database repository can have
their member users in different repositories like file and
LDAP.

While displaying all the groups of a user, VMM makes a check to
see if any direct groups are present in a cross repository.
However there was no check to determine if nested groups are
defined in a cross repository. As a result, VMM didn't
display the nested groups for a user if the nested groups were
defined in a cross repository

Problem conclusion

The fix involved adding the logic to check whether nested
groups are present in cross repository.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.39 and 7.0.0.19.  Please refer to the
