Error description

• Messages can't be consumed from the destination due to the
  following FFDC:
  
  CWSIK0022E: The connection is closed to messaging engine
  <Messaging Engine Name> and cannot be used.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When running in a managed environment   *
  *                      the exception CWSIK0022E can be seen    *
  *                      causing a repeated failure to connect   *
  *                      to a messaging engine.                  *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  A exception occurs indicating that the connection to the
  messaging engine has been closed. This exception is capture in
  an FFDC:
  
  CWSIK0022E: The connection is closed to messaging engine
  <messging_engine_name> and cannot be used.
  
  This exception occurs repeatedly and is caused because of
  incorrect logic to determine if the connection is closed or
  not.
  

Problem conclusion

• The APAR solves the problem and correct checks if the
  connection is closed before using it.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 7.0.0.19.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
