B) ENABLE SUPPORT FOR REGRESSING UPDATE WARNING TO WARN USERS
WHEN AN UPDATE OPRATION REMOVED PROBLEMS RESOLVED BY PREVIOUSLY
INSTALLED MAINTENANCE.
C)ENABLE SUPPORT FOR MULTIPLE PROFILE INSTALLATION TO ALLOW IM
TO INSTALL THE FIX PACK WITH OTHER OFFERINGS INTO MULTIPLE
PROFILES.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Fix packs did not support multiple      *
*                      profile installation and regressing     *
*                      update warnings.                        *

You do not get warned when previously installed interim fixes
are uninstalled when fix packs are installed. You can not
install different fix packs which belong to different
offerings into different profiles.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • By using Installation Manager 1.4.2, you get warned when
interim fixes installed previously are uninstalled during
update.
You can now install different fix packs for different
offerings into different profiles at the same time.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 1.0.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
page for delivery information:
