*                      reading a boolean property from LDAP    *

Virtual Member Manager (VMM) throws a ClassCastExcption on
reading Boolean property from LDAP. This happened because VMM
was treating boolean values returned from LDAP as 'String'.

Problem conclusion

The fix involved type casting the values returned from LDAP to
Boolean.

Important: Due to a ServiceDataObject limitation, VMM currently
ignores boolean properties which are set to false.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.39 and 7.0.0.19. Please refer to the
