Error description

1. The ARS_NAME variable is never defined in the servers
VariableMap instance. Keep in mind that there are multiple
VariableMap instances, one used as the "servers variable map",
multiple others created and used by various components at
various times. I do the ARS_NAME variable
picked up in other VariableMap instances after the variable has
been added to the appropriate variables.xml and the
reload/refresh method is called on the VariableMap instance.
Reload/refresh is never called on the servers VariableMap
instance.
2. When the ibmasyncrsp application is restarted, we see the
ARS_NAME variable in the deployment.xml file for this app and
attempt to resolve it (expand). This fails because servers
VariableMap instance does not contain the ARS_NAME entry. This
is because reload/refresh was never called after the change to
the variables.xml was made.

An addNode operation fails with UndefinedVariableException:
Undefined variable ARS_NAME. The error is logged in <was
home>/profiles/<profile name>/logs/addNode.log.

Problem conclusion

Files being synchronized to the added node from the master
configuration repository were not being processed correctly.
The logic error has been corrected.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.19.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
