* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Non-daemon Timer class referred in      *
*                      code was causing zOS portal servant     *
*                      regions to hung.                        *

MaskString was creating Timer daemon classes leading to hung
on z/OS platform.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • MaslString class now changed to refer to daemon Timer class
instead of non-daemon one.

APAR PM26870 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 6.1.0.35 of WebSphere Application Server V6.1.
