Error description

• When using FM/DB2 view or edit, additional rows are
  displayed than what exists in the table.  This occurs when
  the number of rows initially fetched is exactly the same
  number of rows in the result table.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In File Manager DB2 edit, large table   *
  *                      mode, scrolling to the bottom (max) of  *
  *                      the object shows extraneous rows beyond *
  *                      the last row in the object.             *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  The problem occurs in large edit mode only when the number of
  rows in the DB2 object is the same as the number of rows
  initially fetched by FM/DB2.  The latter number is shown in the
  "Large table mode - initial fetch of nnn rows" message, which
  appears when the data is first displayed.
  

Problem conclusion

• File Manager DB2 component has been changed to correct the
  problem.  This APAR also changes the error message displayed
  when the editor SORT command is issued in an FM/DB2 large edit
  session.  The FM/DB2 User's Guide and Reference for DB2 data is
  updated to explicitly state that the editor SORT command is not
  available in a large mode editor session.
