Error description
When running FM/IMS batch IXB function, if RESLIB is concatenated with other libraries, and has an alias, or is referred to by an alias, receive ABEND806-04 for DFSVCI00.
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All FM/IMS users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The system issues msgCSV003I 'Requested * * module DFSVCI00 not found' and the * * FM/IMS function terminates abnormally * * with abendS806-4 when the user or * * administrator specifies an alias for * * the data set that contains the IMS SVC * * modules rather than the actual data set * * name. * * The problem can occur when an alias for * * this data set is specified in any of * * the following locations: * * - in a RESLIB parameter on the FMN1POPI * * or FMN1POPD macro statement * * - in a RESLIB parameter in the FMIMSIN * * input for an FM/IMS batch function * * - in a RESLIB data set name field on * * the DLI Mode Data Sets 1 panel * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF. * **************************************************************** The problem occurs because the library that contains the IMS SVC modules is not included in the DFSRESLB concatenation when the user or administrator specifies an alias for this library. All the RESLIB libraries that are APF-authorized are included in the DFSRESLB concatenation. However, the CSVAPF macro invoked by FM/IMS to determine whether or not the RESLIB libraries are APF-authorized does not consider an alias of an APF-authorized library to be APF-authorized unless the alias itself is defined in the APF list. IBM's data management services (for example, OPEN processing) map an alias to the actual library name and therefore do not require the alias to be defined in the APF list
Problem conclusion
FM/IMS has been modified to include aliases of APF-authorized libraries in the DFSRESLB concatenation.
