Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    * USERS AFFECTED: All users of File Manager DB2 component. *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In the FM/DB2 copy utility the option: *
    * 'Ignore referential integrity errors' *
    *                      is not working.                         *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF. *
    ****************************************************************
    The intention of the 'Ignore referential integrity errors'
    option is to allow any row that generates an SQLCODE-530 on
    insert (update) of the target DB2 object to be ignored. This
    option is not working - any SQLCODE-530 error results in the
    copy operation being terminated.

Problem conclusion

  • File Manager DB2 component has been updated to correct the
    problem. The option description has been changed to better
    reflect the option's function. When the option is selected,
    any SQLCODE-530 or SQLCODE-545 errors will be ignored.
