Error description

  • PM17679 introduced new CookieSupportedLanguagePreProcessor that
    stores a user selected language as cookie. This cookie is
    persisted in the browser and is active across user login
    sessions. PM19469 extends the functionality of the PreProcessor
    so that the language selection cookie is cleared at user
    logout,
    so that the selection is only valid for the session of a user.

    APAR PM19469 provides a configurable LogoutFilter that clears
    the cookie on user logout to revert selected language.

    Manual steps required:
    The Logout Filter needs to be configured manually, to active the
    cookie clear functionality:
    The following two settings must be added/modified to the 'WP
    Authentication
    Service' to enable the filter after APAR installation. Please
    use WAS admin console Resources -> Resource Environment
    Providers ->  'WP Authentication
    Service' -> custom properties -> add/modify to change the
    settings. If there are already entries present for the two
    filter chain properties, please append the
    CookieSupportLogoutFilter entry at the end of the list (use
    colon or semicolon as separator for classnames).

    logout.explicit.filterchain=com.ibm.wps.state.preprocessors
    .locale.CookieSupportLogoutFilter
    logout.implicit.filterchain=com.ibm.wps.state.preprocessors
    .locale.CookieSupportLogoutFilter

    Please save and restart the server afterwards.
