Error description

  • When you add a component via hyperlink to a piece
    of content and click to search from the pop-up window
    no results are returned for components although components exist
    in the authoring UI.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Problem Summary:
                  No component search results returned when browsing
    to link to a component using the RTE --> insert hyperlink
    Detailed Problem Description:
        In a rich text editor when attempting to insert a new link.
    Browsing to search for a component returns no result. It works
    however for content items.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Problem Analysis:
        In the link reference component search function, the query
    for path search is never set and therefore none is executed
    resulting in zero results
    Problem Solution:
          The path search query has been set.
