Error description
In the v7 adminstrative console, go to Application Server->Server1->Session Management->Distributed Environment Settings->Database settings Then, select the flag for 'use multi row schema' and click apply, if you click the link for 'view administrative scripting command for last action, you see the script: AdminConfig.modify('(cells/HOSTCell02/nodes/HOSTNode02 /servers/server1|server.xml#SessionDatabasePersistence_126710888 1656)', '[[password "mypass"] [userId "myID"] [tableSpaceName ""] [datasourceJNDIName "jdbc/Sessions"]]') This is NOT including the option for 'use multi row schema'
Local fix
Modify the tag for 'Multi Row Schema' with the following script: server = AdminConfig.getid('/Server:server1/') tuneid = AdminConfig.list('TuningParams', server) AdminConfig.modify(tuneid,'[[usingMultiRowSchema "true"]]') AdminConfig.save()
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IBM WebSphere Application Server V7.0 users * * of command assistance in the administrative * * console. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A field is missing from the command * * assistance for the Database settings * * administrative console panel that can * * be found under Session management. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The Application Servers -> Server1 -> Session management -> Distributed environment settings -> Database panel updates two WCCM objects, but it only displayed command assistance for one. The "Use multi row schema" is a field of the TuningParams WCCM object, and it wasn't included in the command assistance.
Problem conclusion
Added command assistance for the TuningParams object. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 7.0.0.13. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery information: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg27004980
