    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: base64Binary value does not serialize *
    *                      correctly                               *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    If a base64Binary value is set using a wrapper and the data
    object is later saved to XML, the lexical value will be
    serialized in the hexBinary format, causing problems when
    later trying to load the saved XML.

Problem conclusion

  • base64Binary values are now correctly serialized using the
    base64Binary lexical format.
