PM17788: WCI: IMPROVED INFORMATIONAL LEVEL MESSAGES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The WCI informational level messages included too much low level
  information and insufficient high-level information. This
  negatively impacted WCI users, making it difficult for WCI users
  to track consumption of WCI feeds. This has been corrected by
  changing the trace level of numerous WCI messages.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The WCI was outputting inconsequential data at informational
  level and burying important output data in the trace.
  

Problem conclusion

• WCI logging levels have been adjusted to put more appropriate
  weights on messages.
