A profile augmentation template to support administrative
agents in the feature pack is not available in all editions of
WebSphere Application Server.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The existing deployment manager(dmgr) profile template in the
feature pack already supports administrative agents. Its
descriptive text in the GUI was corrected to indicate that. A
new management template was provided for command line users.
Both the existing dmgr profile template and new management
template are now available when the Feature Pack for XML is
installed to any edition of WebSphere Application Server.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 1.0.0.7.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
