    ****************************************************************
    After running ChangeMultipleKeyStorePasswords, when WebSphere
Application Server goes to refresh the SSL configuration, it
access keystores using old password instead new one just
changed with the command resulting in the errors.

Problem conclusion

  • Code is updated to use newly changed password to access
keystores at the time of refreshing the SSL configuration
    after ChangeMultipleKeyStorePasswords.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.13. Please refer to the Recommended
    Updates page for delivery information:
    http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg27004980

Temporary fix

  • It was found that even though the command causes the CWPKI0201E
    and CWPKI0033E, ChangeMultipleKeyStorePassword command
updates the keystore and security.xml correctly. The error is
caused by re-initialization method using previous password in
memory. Restarting the application server should resolve the
    issue.
