    *                      overflow.                               *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF. *
    ****************************************************************
File Manager internal variables used to hold totals for the
display vtoc requests were not of a large enough scale to avoid
overflow. In order to represent all the information on a panel,
the used display area for summary total figures is 10 digits.
This may not be adequate in some cases.

Problem conclusion

  • File Manager has been updated in order to:
Increase the capacity of internal summary total variables and
add a notation to the displayed form of the totals in case
of figures exceeding the displayable area size.
When used, the notation takes the form of a power of 2 modifier:
    K - for Kilobytes (kibibyte), meaning 2¬10
    M - for Megabytes (mebibyte), meaning 2¬20
    G - for Gigabytes (gibibyte), meaning 2¬30
    T - for Terabytes (tebibyte), meaning 2¬40
    P - for Petabytes (pebibyte), meaning 2¬50
    E - for Exabytes (exbibyte), meaning 2¬60

As many decimal places will be displayed as will fit in the
    display area.
E.g. the total figure 103568136431793 would be displayed in
    ten digits as
    94.194671T
