Error description

  • When non-DBCS records are changed using a CHANGE command,
the changed line was highlighted.

But, when DBCS records are changed the same way, the changed
line(s) were not highlighted.

*                      found data is not being highlighted.    *
*                      2. When data is changed during an edit  *
*                      session the changed data is not being   *
*                      highlighted.                            *
*                      3. When a FIND command is issued with   *
*                      no to column and the string is not      *
*                      found data which matches the string     *
*                      may be incorrectly highlighted.         *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *

Highlighting code sections referenced incorrect template and
indexing variables and incorrectly calculated boundary values.

Problem conclusion

  • File Manager has been modified to correct the problems.
