Error description

An attempt to retrieve web services data from the
application server over SSL fails with this exception:

exception during unwrap, javax.net.ssl.SSLException:
javax.net.ssl.SSLException: bad record MAC

This exception happens most of the time, but intermittently the
function will work and exception does not occur.
This only happens on SLES 11.  The same exact application code
(Java) works on other platforms.

The HTTP Channel could incorrectly process data from a
previous request and this could result in an connection
getting into a dual read state.

Problem conclusion

HTTP Channel was changed so an connection can not get into
a dual read state. Note: There has been a harmless side effect
reported on PM13445 and is fixed by PM29501. Please consider
reading the support page for PM29501 before applying this fix.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.33, 7.0.0.13.  Please refer to the Recommended
