Problem conclusion


    

  • Record not found may occur when doing an UPDATE or DELETE of an
XML column in a row. The current abend,DSNXEFDA:M500, does not
provide enough diagnostic information to determine why the
record was not found.

The code change for this APAR will cause an abend in a
different code location, so as to provide needed debugging
information. The new expected abend is DSNISDLE:502B
(ERQUAL502B).

Note: This APAR does not repair the record not found condition.
The purpose of this APAR is to provide additional diagnostics.
