PM12088: JAVA 2 SECURITY PERMISSIONS ARE NOT GRANTED FOR JARS IN THE <PROFILE>/PORTALSERVER/WCM/SHARED/APP DIRECTORY.

 

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Java 2 security permissions are not granted for jars in the

<profile>/PortalServer/wcm/shared/app directory.

WCM configuration files need to be modified to grant
permissions.

Local fix

  • WCM configuration files need to be modified to grant
permissions.

Problem summary

  • Java 2 security permissions are not granted for jars in the

<profile>/PortalServer/wcm/shared/app directory.

WCM configuration files need to be modified to grant
permissions.

Problem conclusion

  • Configuration tasks were modified to allow the proper
permissions.

After the APAR is applied the following configuration tasks
should be ran.

ConfigEngine remove-server-policy -DComponentList=prereq.wcm
-DPortalAdminPwd=<password> -DWasPassword=<password>

ConfigEngine update-server-policy
-DUpdateServerPolicyDomainList=prereq.wcm
-DPortalAdminPwd=<password> -DWasPassword=<password>
