    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: SDO 2.2 formatted namespace is *
    *                      serialized                              *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    If the DataObject.setString method is used, a value may be
    serialized with a type annotation from the SDO 2.2 formatted
    namespace. For example, a value of type int may be annotated
    as type "IntObject" from the "commonj.sdo/java" namespace

Problem conclusion

  • The DataObject.setString method will now cause the correct
    schema type to be used such that no type annotation will be
    introduced during serialization.
