Error description

  • Editor CAPS Setting is set to 'Initially ON' in FM/DB2 option
    0.2.  When editing a DB2 table, input remains in lower case
    when a character is overtyped.

Problem summary

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In File Manager DB2 editor, the editor  *
    *                      CAPS option is not honored, so that     *
    *                      data entered in lower case is not       *
    *                      converted to uppercase.                 *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
    ****************************************************************
    The problem occurs when the editor CAPS option is set to be
    initially on.
    

Problem conclusion

  • File Manager DB2 component has been updated to correct the
    problem.
