Error description

  • Referencing a blank JSP element prints the following warning
message to the logs:

IWKMU1051X: File /opt/IBM/WebSphere/wp_profile/installedApps/SPC
01N01/CO_PortletAppEAR.ear/CO_PortletApp.war/ cannot be a
directory.

No JSP file has been selected in the component so the message is
not relevant.

Problem summary


    

  • The JSP component processing checks if the path to the jsp file
is null but not if it is an empty string.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The JSP component checks for an empty JSP path before validating
the path.
