This issue manifested itself in some XSLT operations.
Problem conclusion
Code has been added to SDO to proactively find or create the correct namespace for the xsi:type being used. APAR PM06990 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service Level (Fix Pack) 1.0.1.3 of WebSphere Application Server v7 Feature Pack for Service Component Architecture (SCA) Refresh Pack.
